Overview:
The Center for Health & Well-being was created in 2019 with the mission to take a holistic and human approach to developing the skills needed to be our best. We look to proactively cultivate a caring community with intention to living life with purpose, appreciation, balance and perspective. Our Center collaborates throughout the IE community to facilitate the opportunities for increased awareness, knowledge and practice of skills to manage the challenges of the day to day and live life fully.

We are looking to incorporate a Associate Director to join our team mainly responsible for the internal portfolio of the Center for Health & Well-being, under the supervision of the Academic Director.

The Associate Director will collaborate with the team on key initiatives and other projects that help achieve the larger objectives of the Center, while supporting the visibility and relevance of the Center within the IE University ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**:
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the Academic Director of the Center in the design, implementation and innovation of academic programs, coordinating around elements that entail greater organizational complexity.
- Responsible for the Center’s curriculum planning, both the universal and optional course. This includes the holistic curriculum overview, assigning professors and ensuring the details of the portfolio implementation are accurate and complete.
- Maintain close contact with faculty to assure delivery of program experience, share related best practices, comment on student or section issues, obtain feedback, and support them in the course delivery.
- Maintain and enhance academic guides and other materials for students and faculty
- Responsible for specific Center project, such aseekly well-being webinars, mindfulness practices, challenges, etc. in terms of selecting speakers, defining content and coordinating with the promotion of the events
- Collaborate closely with Student Experience, Sports & Well-Being, IEU Counseling and Medical Services to enhance the collective well-being offering and avoid overlaps; and liase with other departments including Planning and Maintenance in order to ensure a successful student experience.
- Support the Academic Director in the budget and expense reporting.
- Responsible for academic reporting and coordination related to the academic offering of the Center.

Qualifications:
**Profile**:

- Connects with the purpose mission of the Center for Health & Well-being.
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively, positively, and proactively in both a leadership role and implementation role as part of a high-functioning team.
- Strong project management skills: to provide support on short, medium and long term projects, demonstrating attention to detail and organization
- Problem solving skills: to quickly address concerns, queries and feedback in a constructive and action oriented manner.
- Empathy and confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information such as grades and other administrative tasks such as compiling and organizing student data, and other program related information, etc.
- Presentation skills: Ability to prepare and presentation effective presentations
- Flexibility to attend events outside regular working hours and work from our Segovia campus on a sporadic basis following a clear schedule communicated in advance.
- Familiarity with IE’s diverse and dynamic ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to actively listen and demonstrate empathy, as well as the ability to present center content and represent the Center in sharing our mission and framework.
- Ability to prepare and present effective presentations in both the context of relaying information to students and securing partnerships (company collaborations, keynote speakers, etc.) for various academic activities.
