**Reimagine What’s Possible**
We are looking for an **Expeditor **based in **Barcelona** or Hersham (UK) or Rotterdam (NL) or Krakowska (PL).
The Expeditor is responsible for timely delivery of equipment and materials to the contractual point of delivery without impact to the project and for ensuring the timely submission of critical documentation to the Engineering team when requested.
The goal is to proactively manage our supplier base and ensure on time delivery with no / mínimal disruption to project schedules and to eradicate additional costs to the project. The Expediter will work as a member of the European Regional Sourcing (ERS) team and report to the European Regional Souring Manager, regional Buyers, and Project Procurement Managers (PPM).
**As **Expeditor**, you will**:
- Ensure suitable expediting plans are developed before the start of the Procurement phase of the project, with specific action plans for underperforming suppliers and strategic orders.
- Ensure that purchased equipment and associated drawings and documentation are delivered by our Suppliers on time to meet contractually agreed deadlines.
- Proactively control the progress of strategic orders (such as compressor packages, pumps, vessels, switchgear, instrumentation, valves, pipe and fittings, heat exchangers etc.)
- Immediately notify the Buyer / Project Procurement Manager and Project Manager of any potential or actual problems or delays which could adversely affect delivery of equipment or documentation.
- Ensure that the material control database is continuously and accurately updated, and any electronic filing is kept up to date and maintained accurately where applicable.

- Ability to work cross functionally within Air Products.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic. Able to achieve excellent results.
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to interpret schedules and programs.
- Strong influencing skills, ability to interrogate and ask open questions to get answers.
- Ability to bring suppliers, individuals, and teams together to achieve on time delivery.
**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge equivalent to that of Baccalaureate completed with professional experience or with Higher level professional training.
- Previous Expediting experience (preferable).
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of MS Office.
- Thorough understanding of the Procurement function.
**Language**:
- English language (proficient in spoken and written).
- Other languages are beneficial.
