In this position you will be a Hardware Designer for our e-products under Power Electronics department. You will solve and coordinate all necessary technical issues during the design of the PCB. You will work in a global technical center who will support projects and divisions all over the world. Direct contact with our plants, the customer and suppliers. Electrical vehicle environment.

Software, Hardware, Integration and Mechanical Design departments work and interact very often in a global environment.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Specify, document and develop electronic hardware solutions to control and interface the company’s range of automotive components with the customer’s vehicles and systems.
- Implementation of hardware designs to automotive quality expectations utilizing existing development environments and processes.
- Work with production to ensure design for manufacturing and test criteria are met.
- Responsibility for creation of detailed hardware requirements documentation based on customer and internal specifications, reviews and clarifications.
- Interface as required with external development partners
- Support meetings internally and with customers to discuss test plans and test issues
- Develop schematics for new projects given the dimensions and taken the specifications from the customer.
- PCBA development, follow and test first PCB prototypes working with software developers.
- Analog simulations: Thermal, Power, Signal
- Support first tests of the PCBA
- Support Design Validation testing and support the plant in Process Validation.
- Support R&D activities from HW development point of view
- In addition, the functions related to the Quality and EHS system

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALITICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, similar or compatible experience
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium/Mentor Graphics
- Experience of PCB design, Analog and Digital circuitry
- Experience working with suppliers of electronics components
- Communication skills in English

- Experience related to:

- Hardware Development and power electronics
- Automotive environment
- Thermal simulation
- High voltage products (450V to 1200V)
- Creepage and clearance specifications for high voltage design IEC 60664
- ASIC design (working with supplier) and validation
- Production-oriented design
- CAN and LIN communication interface.
- Simulation tools, like LTspice.
- Knowledge and experience of IATF 16949 compliance.
- ISO 26262.
- ASPICE.
