GCP Cloud Solution Architect - Centre of Excellence

**Quick Description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage with partners translating business requirements into appropriate GCP services and solutions;
- Collaborate with other EMEA pre-sales teams and partners to drive GCP technical awareness and support customer propositions;
- Set up, translate and present desired outcomes in GCP technology solutions to business stakeholders;
- Create and deliver presentations, customized demonstrations, seminars and workshops to partners;
- Design, plan and deliver GCP Services Demonstrations and Proofs of Concept;
- Become the technical solution expert for a designated GCP technology area;
- Maintain up to date GCP certifications as continuous development of expertise;

**Requirements**:
We are looking for a professional with solid experience as Solution Architect, able to understand the customer problems and requirements to design solutions that match the evolving market needs and with a deep competence in all the technologies typically involved in a modern architecture for the digital transformation and roadmap to cloud.

Knowledge and background in enterprise scale infrastructure architecture, data architecture, middleware architecture, cloud architecture (IaaS & PaaS), and specific GCP services and technology is strongly preferred.

- Good understanding of the IT market/trends;
- Creative, innovative and analytical thinker with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into feasible, valuable solutions;

- Good at building strong relationships with partners and with key stakeholders in countries;

- Initiative, signaling areas for improvement and propose suggestions pro-actively;

- High degree of personal motivation, enthusiasm and commitment;
- Passionate for technology;

**Skills required**:

- Thorough understanding of infrastructure (hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.
- Minimum 6-8 years' experience in IT and a background including architecture, implementation and delivery of large-scale hardware and software systems in real-world situations (Lift & Shift, Cloud Native Development, Cloud Security, Hybrid Cloud integration).
- Wide knowledge of IT market and trends.
- Significant Clevel presentation experience;
- Specific knowledge of GCP industry solutions;
- Hands on experience with GCP and strong understanding of GCP capabilities and limitations;
- GCP Associate Cloud Engineer and Professional Cloud Architects certifications (or willingness to obtain them in the first 6 months);

**Required qualifications**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent;
- Background from pre-sales or as a technical consultant;
- Proven experience working in the IT industry as Technical Architect, Solution Architect or Engineer;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and persuasive skills essential;
- Fluent in English and other languages are a plus;
