Role and Responsibilities

Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, on s'attendra à ce que l’Apprenti technicien de simulateur aide à garantir que l'équipement de formation en simulation interne respecte la disponibilité contractuelle.

Les responsabilités comprendront mais ne seront pas limitées à:

- Apprendre et être en mesure de préparer l'équipement de formation en simulation pour son fonctionnement quotidien en effectuant des vérifications de la capacité opérationnelle.
- Apprendre et réaliser une maintenance préventive selon les calendriers publiés pour chaque appareil de formation.
- Apprendre et réaliser les essais de certification selon les calendriers mensuels publiés pour chaque appareil de formation.
- Apprendre et charger les scénarios d'exercices appropriés ainsi que les autres tâches requises pour se préparer aux séances de formation particulières.
- Apprendre à vérifier de façon efficace les anomalies rapportées, à vérifier le fonctionnement du simulateur et à rectifier les anomalies de base de fonctionnement et de maintenance.
- Apprendre et contribuer à la restauration de l'équipement défectueux ou transmettre les défaillances au personnel plus qualifié.
- Apprendre et accomplir des tâches d'entretien et compléter les carnets de bord au début et à la fin des séances de formation prévues.
- Apprendre et seconder les ingénieurs principaux en matière de maintenance, de résolution de problèmes et d'émission de certifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Capacité à obtenir une qualification d'un collège d'enseignement technique.
- Connaissance et expérience de base en matière de matériel informatique, de logiciels et de systèmes d'exploitation.
- Intérêt et idéalement une certaine expérience en matière de systèmes mécaniques et de génie électrique.
- Compréhension de base et intérêt en matière de systèmes d'aviation et d'aéronef.
- Aptitudes en informatique (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et xxx.

In this role, the Apprentice Simulator Technician will be expected to help ensure that the in-service simulation training equipment meets the contractual availability.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Learn and be able to prepare the simulation training equipment for daily operation using standard operational readiness checks.
- Learn and perform preventative maintenance in accordance with the published schedules for each training device.
- Learn and carry out Qualification Test Guide (QTG) according to the published monthly schedules for each training device.
- Learn and load appropriate exercise scenarios and other tasks required to prepare for specific training sessions.
- Be taught to effectively check reported snags, verify simulator operation and rectify basic operational and maintenance snags.
- Be taught and assist in the restoration of failed equipment or refer such failures to more qualified/experienced staff.
- Learn and perform housekeeping functions and complete journey logs at the start and finish of scheduled training sessions.
- Be taught and assist other senior engineers with maintenance, problem resolution and certification issues.

Qualifications:

- Ability to gain a technical college qualification.
- Basic computing hardware, software and operating systems knowledge and experience.
- Interest and ideally some experience in mechanical and electrical engineering systems.
- Basic understanding and interest in aviation and aircraft systems.
- PC skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Fluency in English and xxx.
