**What We Are Looking for**:
ISGlobal is seeking a Project Assistant who must complete very specific tasks that are already underway, particularly the characterization of DNA aptamers developed against a Leishmania infantum protein and of their use as elements for the diagnosis of leishmaniasis and the vectorization of nanovectors towards Leishmania.

**TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree and Master on Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology or related fields.
- High level of English.
- Training in public health issues.

**SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in cell cultures, including the culture of Leishmania.
- Experience in the encapsulation of drugs in immunoliposomes.
- Experience in the development of DNA aptamers.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Testing in parasite cultures of DNA aptamers as new potential tools for the diagnosis of leishmaniasis.
- Encapsulation of antileishmanial compounds in liposomes to be targeted to parasite cells with specific DNA aptamers developed within the project.

- Salary Range: TEC II D

**SELECTION PROCESS**:
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2- Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

If needed any technical test could be pass. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
