The IESE Career Development Center (CDC) is looking for a person with a strong passion for working with people, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Working with business school students and companies from all over the world makes this a dynamic working environment.

The mission of CDC is to prepare IESE students and Alumni to succeed in their job search and careers, and partner with companies to help them find the best suitable talent for their organizations.

As an Associate Director at CDC, you will be responsible of
- Preparing MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MiM (Master in Management) students to achieve their career goals and succeed in their recruiting processes, many times involving a change in geography, function, and sector.
- Develop and manage employer relations to create career opportunities for all IESE talent.
- Facilitate connections between students with potential companies and recruiters.

**Main Responsibilities**

Career Counseling and Sectorial Advisory
- Deliver one-on-one career counseling to support students seeking an internship or full-time job including:

- Job search guidance (self-knowledge, networking, action plan)
- Professional brand development (CV, cover letter, LinkedIn)
- Interview preparation (mock interviews)
- Sharing of industry insights on specific sectors
- Develop and share knowledge about industry hiring trends, profile requirements and recruitment expectations of key recruiting companies.
- Mentor MiM & MBA students and sectorial clubs throughout the academic year.

Account Management & Business Development
- Elaborate and execute an annual plan for existing companies recruiting on campus, with company specific hiring objectives, recruiting timelines, networking events, and preparation sessions.
- Develop and execute an employer outreach strategy, targeting specific employers in selected geographies and sectors considering current student’s interests and industry trends to maximize recruiting opportunities for our students.
- Conduct proactive outreach calls, and visits, to corporate partners and new business leads to reinforce relationship and seek new job opportunities and collaboration opportunities.
- Facilitate employers' participation in recruiting events, including Career Fairs, company presentations, skill workshops, company visits and any other events to facilitate student and employer
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and marketing plan to promote IESE talent and increase the volume and geographic diversity of recruiters and job postings.

Special projects
- Manage and deliver special projects related to the Career Development Center. For example: preparation of yearly employment reports, ranking statistics, visa requirements, career search platforms, etc.

Required qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in the corporate sector, or in a similar role at another top business school.
- Fluent in English, and conversational Spanish
- Ability to travel, and work evenings and weekends occasionally for special company events.
- Geographically mobile to be located full-time in Barcelona (Spain).

Preferred qualifications:

- MBA degree from a top tier ranked school (preferably IESE).
- Organizational skills: be able to plan and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Results oriented: highly motivated to achieve objectives, both individually and as part of a team.
- Relationship building: proven ability to create and establish external business relationships, and manage relationships at an executive level and also internally across the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to communicate professionally with diverse communities, including senior executives.
