**Job Description**:
Main duties: As part of the chassis testing team of Applus+ IDIADA, the Vehicle dynamics test engineer will be covering the following tasks:
a) Perform the technical activities related to evaluation and development related to ride, handling, traction, braking and safety attributes. These activities include:

- Test vehicle instrumentation: supervision of sensors installation and setup of data acquisition devices.
- Perform test program according to project requirements: supervision of test driver and/or test execution in proving ground/ Kinematics & compliance test bench.
- Test data analysis and reporting to conclude project outcomes.

b) Give support to Vehicle Dynamics product manager for drafting of technical proposal and quotations.

Requirements: Education:

- Engineering Degree of Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or Mechatronics.

**Profile**:

- 1 to 3 years experience in vehicle testing, preferably brakes or vehicle dynamics.
- Good knowledge of measurement technology and data acquisition systems. Familiar with CAN communication equipment.
- Strong interest in measurement data analysis from initial post-processing to final results reporting.
- Willingness to perform test in proving ground, good driving skills are an asset.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Dynamic, proactive, self-motivated.
- Willingness to global travel when required.

Language skills:

- English: full working proficiency.
- Any other language, especially German, is an asset.
