As our newest Senior Software Engineer, you will be focused on driving technical excellence and ensuring efficient execution while operating, maintaining, and monitoring our production services for our games and our user base.
**Your main functions**:
- Work closely with your Technical Lead in a cross-functional team of developers and other experts on achieving shared goals.
- Design, implement and maintain highly available architectures to better support our user base.
- Write clean code, do code reviews and take care about the overall quality of the services.
- Help maintain the infrastructure with instrumentation, monitoring, logging, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Be involved in determining the feasibility of features, with respect to time and cost and be integrated into business decisions as part of our development strategy.
- Support other team members in their work and share your knowledge and experience with the team.
- Conduct researches to find technological solutions to product and business challenges.
**Requirements**:
- Experience designing and implementing fault-tolerant services with multiple parts and technologies. Your experience in building and maintaining microservices-oriented architectures is essential, demonstrating a solid understanding of best practices and patterns for scalable and modular systems.
- Proficiency in working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services is a must.
- It is crucial to have extensive expertise in developing and working with RESTful APIs and gRPC, ensuring efficient and robust communication between services and components.
