Art Teacher

The team currently consists of two full-time members. Our learning programmes lead to qualifications at GCSE and 'A' level in art and photography.

We have a strong art department which makes significant contributions to school events, including publicity and media coverage.

We are currently seeking a specialist who can teach art to GCSE and potentially 'A' level. Ability to teach photography as well would be an advantage.

In all of our curricular areas we welcome creative practitioners, and teachers who confidently make use of technology in the classroom.

Prior experience in international schools is preferred but not essential.

Morna International College is located in the middle of the island of Ibiza, a few minutes from the beautiful village of Santa Gertrudis. The college campus provides an excellent learning environment where children feel motivated, challenged, safe and well-cared for.

Our school covers the whole age range from 3 to 18 and we offer the British education system with a very international focus, leading to international GCSE and 'A' level qualifications. We have excellent teacher-pupil ratios and are able to offer suitably differentiated learning targets to meet the needs of all of our students. We are well resourced and make excellent use of modern technology.

We have students aged from 3 to 18 from over 20 nationalities. Our student population consists of around one third Spanish children, one third British children and one third international children. We have a strong pastoral system, based on close monitoring and plenty of rewards. This results in a happy and focussed environment in which our children respond really well to inspired teaching.

In recent years our students have progressed onto postgraduate studies in universities throughout the UK, and also in Spain, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and the USA.
