About the job
**Profile & Experience**
- Sets the strategic direction for the data platform and actively manages its roadmap.
- The platform owner is tasked with engaging with the global and local product teams to understand their needs and then defining, delivering, monitoring, marketing and refining the platform in a way that maximizes efficient delivery of customer value.
- As the product owner of the platform, the platform owner must be very skilled at balancing and supporting the needs of multiple customers - people who order the platform capabilities’ and often pay to use them - with different priorities.
- The platform owner should be familiar with animating community of practices, in order to bring people together to share knowledge, make decisions and empower users.
- Manage a team of people.
About you
**Competencies**
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, engineering or data and analytics.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience within a global organization is required.
- Transformative and strategic mindset.
- The platform owner must have a strong technical grounding and understand the data engineer persona.
- Someone looking for a new challenge and motivated by improving the working lives of data engineer, with a strong experience either as data architects or, lead data platform engineer, project managers or product owners, will be suitable for the job.
- “People” skills, such as communication and collaboration.
- Business Acumen skills
