Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager to define the roadmap and help implement a multifaceted fintech product.
**Requirements**:
- Multiple years of experience in payments, TARGET2, ISO 20022, double-entry ledgers, and settlements
- Previous experience as a software developer or computer science degree
- Solid knowledge of the API development process, capable of reading and writing API documentation
- Competent use of “tools of the trade” like Jira, Notion, Miro, Postman, GitHub, or similar
- Comfortable working with remote teammates and collaborators, only reachable online
- Ready to work in our Barcelona office, with probably the best view of the Port
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and teams using Extreme Programming
- Experience as a product manager or developer of fintech products
- Deep technical understanding of card and bank transaction processes
- Worked directly with Visa or Mastercard
- Understanding of regulatory/compliance requirements for bank account ownership and financial transactions
**Responsibilities**:
**Identify product requirements**: gather feature requests from customers and internal stakeholders, monitor market trends, and use your fintech experience and product-person intuition.
**Communicate precise specifications**: translate product requirements to User Stories, ensure they are well understood and embraced by the development team, and support developers in backlog refinement.
**Plan and prioritize**: collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to help determine the best technical implementation methods and execution schedule.
**Document and inform**: ensure all product changes come with appropriate documentation in API references, customer notifications, and end-user documentation.
**Measure and report**: Define key metrics to monitor the product's long-term success, ensure these are implemented and monitored, and regularly report progress and expectations.
