Junior Business Analyst - Propositions

**Summary Role**: Junior Business Analyst - Propositions

Maxeon is seeking a high-energy, trend-focused Junior Business Analyst as a critical member of the Product Propositions and Services team. This role will be responsible for analyzing, researching and crafting data, trends, business models and value proposition available for the residential and commercial solar markets. The role will focus on gathering data and deriving insights from it to set the baseline for Maxeon’s current and future business developments. To trigger continuous improvement and innovation the role is expected to analyze internal and external KPI data and spark new initiatives around home energy solutions and related areas in various markets. Core responsibilities include setting the baseline for the wider team to take educated decisions on strategical and product directions and being the initiator of trend scouting and innovation.

This position reports to the Head of Product Propositions and Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support business development as well as product management for Maxeon’s products, platforms and value added services
Create hypothesis together with business development and product management and find validation in available market data
Derive possible development directions for Maxeon’s current and future business portfolio
Create and define metrics for competitor analysis and its value perceived by the customers
Own data sources and market validation for Maxeon’s product personas to ensure high quality development and innovation
Partner with stakeholders throughout our company to define our business and product vision for DG2.0 initiatives
Support Product Development from Ideation to Go-To-Market phases being the role driving data analysis

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Education such as a Bachelor’s degree; MBA or a degree in sustainability management, administration, business, engineering, information technology, finance, economics or equivalent experience
Related internships and working student positions proving desire for analytical and data driven challenges
Knowledge and interest in sustainable resource management and energy markets
Motivation to learn and innovate to evolve crucial skills to support key developments ag Maxeon
Being a self-starter, thriving in a team environment and accepting constructive criticism as part of continuous improvement in the design quality
Obsessed with understanding the needs of the users of our products and services
An analytical and a data-driven approach to problem solving
An owner’s mindset - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff
Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to quickly command trust and respect from suppliers and co-workers
