Job Description Summary:
The Financial Controlling Senior Specialist is responsible for the delivery of financial activities at global level coordinating several regions and countries. They will control financial resources and ensures that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
Job Description:
Mission & Responsibilities
Support in building and monitoring P&L:
- Review and monitor the Global budgets
- Prepare Financial Forecast
- Analyze and report issues and variances from forecast and budget
- Advise on potential risks
- Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities
- External or internal audits follow-up
- Accomplishment of Havas policies
- Operate litigation procedures
Review of financial operations:
- Review accounting operations
- Control Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Control quality of financial transactions and financial reporting
- Prepare financial reports (audit and financial analysis reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets)
- Present findings and recommendations
Qualifications & Languages
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
- Languages: English (Fluent)
Previous experience & Industry background
- 4+ years of experience in finance. Ideally in a Big 4 or in the HQ of a global multinational company as International Controller.
