**Job Description**:
Position Purpose

Asset Control is seeking for a Manager Analytics to assist with continuous transformation of data into insights and the development/implementation/automation of advance analytics models that can help us optimize the use of our assets (reduce losses, undercover patters and anticipate to issues). The Manager Analytics will manage a team of 1 Jr. data scientist focused in the development of tools leveraging cutting edge analytics techniques and 3 Sr. Analysts oriented to understand key drivers affecting performance and deployment of automated controls that can capture misbehaviours easily/quickly. The Manager Advanced Analytics will ensure projects are aligned with asset control strategy & targets, providing the expected results and maintaining internal service levels.

Major / Key Accountabilities
- Develop and deploy artificial intelligence strategy for asset control ensuring its timely execution according to plan and delivery of quantitative results (savings, optimization, asset efficiency improvement, customer satisfaction, etc).
- Develop and implement deep dive analysis to support and guide business strategy (translate data into information to achieve business goals).
- Follow up on performance metrics and track strategic initiatives to ensure they are progressing as expected.
- Propose new solutions based on data that could deliver value from asset control point of view.
- Building analytic systems (diagnostic, proactive & predictive) and optimization models based on business drivers to support Asset Control strategy.
- Managing a team of data scientists and data analysts delivering high quality results.
- Interpret, analyse and propose solutions based on data.
- Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects.
- Test performance of developed products.
- Follow up on model performance and fine tune to achieve desired accuracy.
- Pilot new models and techniques to propose innovative solutions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to tune in models based on business requirements.
- Adopt and scale best practices in order to improve service to business stakeholders.
- Automate processes to provide outputs in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Technology related degree and/or a minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar role.

Experience
- Worked with measures and KPIs.
- Working on remote teams.
- Proved experience with Project Management (manage priorities, standardization, automation, troubleshooting and long-term planning).
- Experience with process automation and workload reduction.
- Experience implementing new solutions from scratch.
- Experience with change management.
- Experience managing a technical team.
- SQL experience.
- Experience explaining technical solutions to non-technical people.
- Experience reading and understanding code.
- Experience deploying projects using machine learning.
- Proficient using Microsoft tools: Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, Visio.
- Solid understanding of machine learning.
