**Job Description**:
AECOM is hiring a **Deputy Project Manager** to join our **Roads Manager Team** based in Madrid, Spain (we have a hybrid working model).
As this position, you will have the opportunity to manage multi-disciplinary teams required to deliver **Highways & Roads Projects**, as well as carry out supervision and validation of projects developed by other companies.
The role will cover the whole national project lifecycle from initial inception to the delivery, through basic design and detailed design. Technician packages of international projects also would be managed.
You would also be expected to provide support with work winning.
Within your day to day role you duties will include but are not limited to the following;
- Management of the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed time-scales and quality standards.
- Provide support in technician delivery, project finances, resourcing, audits, and reviews, to a portfolio of projects.
- Assist Senior Project Managers with project controls including project tracking, financial analysis and project billing
- Preparing presentations, reports and proposals.
- Occasional field and customer visits
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor or Master Civil Engineer
**Minimum Requirements**
- Fluent in English and Spanish (oral and written).
- Experience with National & British Roads regulations and standards will be a must.
- Knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads, Autocad Civil3D, etc. will be a must
- Driving innovation in project methodology or technical skills to achieve marketplace differentiation will be appreciated.
**Qualifications**:
For this role it will be essential:
- Hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Fluent in English and Spanish languages (oral and written).
- Experience in Roads design projects, ideally 3 to 6 years.
It will be a must:
- Experience with National & British Roads regulations and standards.
- Knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads, Autocad Civil3D, Ispol, etc. will be a must.
- Driving innovation in project methodology or technical skills to achieve marketplace differentiation will be appreciated.
