We are working a Procurement Officer role which would have responsibility for procurement of all kinds of services to fulfill company's business & operations demand and maximize value and competitive advantages for a client of ours who are a major player in Solar & Storgae Certification globally.
**The role is to be perfomed remotely out of Spain or Portugal and the budget for this role is 43000 EUR annually**
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions and procedures which establish basic procurement philosophies to ensure ethical and sound purchasing strategies as defined
- Source services in a timely and efficient manner by using appropriate procurement practices and strategies to support client's ongoing development and business needs
- Responsible for sourcing, price negotiation, contracting, suppliers' performance review & management, suppliers' relationship and risk management for all purchasing activities of the client, including but not limited to services of TIC
- Ensure suppliers are capable of meeting client's current and future technical and business requirements
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment term, warranty and service terms
- Continuously and proactively initiate cost saving plans and projects to improve total cost and cash flow of client to improve gross margin and support business growth
- Keep close contact with management and other staff to ensure that when issues arise, both issues and resolutions are communicated in a timely manner
- Share purchasing procedures to the stakeholders and train the stakeholders with proper way
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above is preferred.
- At least 2 year's experience in Procurement Management.
- Experience in purchasing of services.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English, Native Spanish or Portuguese
