The internship program is intended for students of the Master of Access to the Legal Profession who want to start their professional career in Baker McKenzie.

In order to participate in the selection process, you must have a solid academic background, an excellent knowledge of English written and spoken and be willing to learn and help our lawyers in legal advice to TOP companies.

**Requirements**:

- Be studying the Master of Access to the Legal Profession (whose period of internship is planned for September 2024 to January 2025)
- Degree in Spanish Law
- Very good academic record.
- Ability to work in a team.
- High level of English
- Any international experience will be a plus
- Having completed a double degree will be highly valued
- No previous experience required

**What to Expect**:
Every year we open vacancies for the Master's Internship Program Access to the Legal Profession for those who will be future junior associates of the office.

Through this program we want you to see from the hand of great professionals, what is the life of a lawyer at Baker McKenzie like.

From the beginning you will be involved in the day-to-day work of a a particular department, working closely with Our lawyers.

At the beginning of the internship you will be assigned a Senior Associate as tutor and you will also have the additional support of a Jr. Associate. "Buddy" to solve any simple doubt. In addition, you will have contact with our Spanish customers and international through meetings, you will perform tasks of Research and other day-to-day activities within the department to which you are assigned. You will also have the opportunity to participate in Pro bono activities.

This will give you the opportunity to:

- build your network of contacts within the firm;
- develop your legal skills;
- learn how we work, what our clients are like and what the structure of the Firm.

In addition, you will have a study grant of € 2,000 gross / month during the curricular internship period and € 30,000 gross/yearly during the period as a trainee.

More specifically, our Training Program includes:
Induction: you will attend an introductory training course during the first few days to help you start working.

Legal Technical Training: Each of our Practice Groups conducts internal training sessions covering the topics Relevant legal technicians for that team. We also organize Specific seminars for trainees covering the topics fundamentals that arise in each of our practice areas, so that you obtain a thorough legal basis.

Professional skills development: to be a lawyer of Success It is not only necessary to know the law. Therefore, we will help you maximize their potential and develop your skills, for example, providing you with training in effective presentation, writing and Customer and case management.

Your training will not end with the completion of the Master Practices of Access to the Legal Profession. The training plan It will accompany you throughout your professional career.

**Consolidation**:
Students selected for our Master Internship Program Access to the Legal Profession are the future Jr. Associate at Baker McKenzie Madrid after successfully passing the evaluation process of the period initial 10 months.
