INTRO

In our dynamic, growing working environment, the
**Senior Helpdesk & Systems Engineer** will extend our existing support team in Málaga and is a key contact person for support to our regional office and offices worldwide. A very hands-on, experienced engineer with a great attitude and solid, proven experiences in various internal IT fields, you will be working in an exciting IT environment together with specialists all around the globe.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Effectively managed the resolution of support issues efficiently reported to us, including a professional way to communicate with all stakeholders.
- Act as a technical authority, providing expertise to team members locally and globally.
- Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.
- Implement, maintain, evolve, and operate state-of-the-art IT systems, e.g., internal servers, cloud servers, backup and disaster recovery, patching systems, IT asset management systems, permission and procurement systems, and more.
- Operate IT infrastructure systems like Active Directory, Exchange mailboxes, DNS, group policies, domain controllers, routers, firewalls, switches, VPN, and networking technologies.
- Operate client devices running Windows, MacOS, Linux and iOS.
- Build IT policies and implement operational best practices. Work with HR, Information Security, and business operations units to develop automated onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Troubleshoot, install, and maintain Windows and Linux setups, where CUDA, Docker, and other data science pipeline tools are essential in ensuring the reliability and security of our research IT systems.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT
- Team player who can motivate and educate other team members in principles of service delivery excellence and all relevant technology topics.
- Understand and manage network issues, traffic routes, and related concepts.
- Experience developing automation workflows and integrations for repetitive or manual tasks.
- Self-motivated passion for IT and technology.
- BA in IT, computer science, or similar qualifications or relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of successful experience in a similar senior role.
- Coding/scripting experience is a plus.
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
