Procurement Technician

MISSION
Guarantee the necessary flow of materials for the production activity and its adaptation to the demand variability.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Control the supplier’s deliveries starting from the sending point.

Send the delivery programs to the suppliers with the frequency agreed.

Supervise and control the process of materials and components delivery from the moment that the suppliers initiate the delivery.

Suggest and implement action plans for suppliers that don’t fulfill the deliveries on time.

Train the suppliers about FICOSA supply chain system that are applicable for suppliers. (Supply web)

Maintain the stock level on budget and implement the corrective actions if necessary.

Check the invoices of the suppliers.

Manage all charges activities in case of supplier late delivery..

Return the rejected material.

Identify areas for improvement in his/her area and to participate in the continuous improvement activities of the area following the FMS lean model and the strategic guidelines.

Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.

Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

**Academic background**:
Degree or medium degree in Engineering

**Languages**:
Basic in English (written & spoken)

**Experience**:
2 years in similar position
