Join our journey towards a sustainable future at RWE Renewables as a Data Analyst in our dynamic Data Insights team. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of the energy transition, contributing directly to our mission of leading the way in renewable energy production. As a Data Analyst, you will leverage data products to build meaningful use cases, helping the business to make data-driven decisions. You will also be responsible for enabling our business counterparts to interact with data effectively and build custom analyses independently. This role requires a great skill mix of data science, data analytics consulting, and change management experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement data use cases that drive business value, leveraging our existing data products.
- Enable business counterparts to understand, interact with, and leverage data effectively.
- Cultivate a data-driven culture by developing and providing training materials to non-technical staff
- Enhance collaborate within the data department to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Act as a strong advocate and change agent for data-driven mindset and self-service analytics across the organization.
- Provide data analytics consulting, translating business demands into data insights.
- Drive change management initiatives, promoting the adoption and understanding of data analytics across the organization.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proven experience and thought leadership in data analysis and data visualization.
- Understanding of Cloud Integration and services
- Strong knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, DataBricks, Azure, Python,R)
- Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts.
- Ability to translate business needs into data analysis projects.
- Excellent communication skills and an advocate for a data-driven mindset, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience in change management or consulting, with a proven track record of driving organizational change.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for turning data into actionable insights.
