Export Control Officer

Accountability:
The jobholder is accountable to ensure an end-to-end export control process allowing permanent tracking of project export issues at any step of the product development and preventing any deficiency related to export that would cause delays, additional cost, or sanctions and fines, support enabling of export compliant business, protect Airbus Group officers from violations

Main activities:

- The jobholder is responsible to authorize the delivery of Item(s)/Commodity(ies) and service(s) according to applicable laws and regulations.
- The jobholder is responsible to identify when a violation has occurred; support the functions on escalation and reporting (VD + GC); follow up with Functions the action plan until closure i.a.w. Escalation and Voluntary Disclosure processes.
- The jobholder is responsible to Monitor business activities for exposure to Airbus Sanctioned Country List countries; identify, evaluate or escalate proposed Dealings with countries or regions on Airbus Sanctioned Country List i.a.w. Sanctions, embargoes and screening processes.
- The jobholder is responsible to define and maintain a training plan for AHE Employees involved in Export Control compliance; Provide training to all AHE staff involved in Export Control.
- The jobholder is responsible to participate to business meetings to de-risk on export control issues as early as possible, notably through contract or design reviews.
- The jobholder is responsible to continuously track evolution of export national & international laws and regulations and liaise with relevant government authorities.
- The jobholder is responsible to support the functions in access control to data according to the classification of data; Perform regular assessment of the Export Control compliance as far as data management is concerned i.a.w. Export Controlled Technical Information processes.
- The jobholder is responsible to support the Airbus classification processes.
- The jobholder is responsible to determine whether Part 130 report is required and initiate Part 130 reporting; support the Functions in the operations to ensure the ITAR Part130 process is in place and is working i.a.w. ITAR130 processes.
- The jobholder is responsible to determine to determine whether a transaction qualifies as Brokering.
- The jobholder is responsible to support Export Control process governance, keep the applicable records and participate to audits i.a.w. Framework processes.
- The jobholder is responsible to coordinate Export Compliance within Divisional and National export control teams in Airbus Group. Attend to coordination meetings within AIRBUS Export Control Organization.
