**About the client**:
Our client is a multinational company within the automotive industry.

The local buyer will be responsible for achieving the objectives of economy, quality, service and sustainability, as well as the objectives of the project team.He/she will manage all assigned suppliers and direct all purchasing activities for assigned projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve business objectives.
- Lead all the assigned suppliers’ problems, following the escalation matrix.
- Manage all assigned project-purchasing activities, following FDS.
- Negotiate and implement technical savings with suppliers.
- Lead sourcing processes to ensure reaching quality, price, timing, sustainability and service objectives.
- When designated to do so, act as “Global Lead Buyer” for the global suppliers, representing the company in front of the supplier as a single voice and coordinated with the buyers of the rest of the Countries.
- Present the sourcing processes in assignments committee for the assigned suppliers.
- Participate in purchasing monthly report processes for all projects and suppliers that are assigned.
- Respect the company's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the position, together with related training.
- Participate in the assigned teams, ensuring their efficiency, development and motivation, promoting the values of the company.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

**Job Requirements**:

- Previous experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics.
- Profile: Organised, proactive and able to work autonomously.
- Negotiation skills: Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close successful business deals. Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade different stakeholders.
- Results-driven: Strong focus on delivering measurable results. Ability to track and analyze key performance indicators and adjust strategies.
- Knowledge of electronics products : Specialized in purchasing, FDS or FPS would be of additional.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
