Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics, with around 3.000 employees. From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions to stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.

As a **Project Buyer **in Valeo Martos you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies, in the electronics development working in an international and multicultural environment.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Negotiation with suppliers to respect cost and deadline objectives, prior knowledge of the parts and / or components manufacturing process.
- Management of the development plans of the new components for the different projects.
- Participation in the validation and homologation of components before SOP.
- Integration and participation in multidisciplinary teams to achieve the objectives of the project / s.
- Cost estimation for customer offers and subsequent monitoring (modification, integration of new components,...)
- Search for new suppliers that provide technological innovations to meet customer needs.

**Desired skills and experience**:

- Bachelor Degree in Electronics or Industrial Engineering
- At least 3 years in Purchasing
- Be result oriented, commitment to teamwork within an international environment.
- Professionalism and transparency.
- Negotiating English level is mandatory.
- Passion for the automotive industry.
