About the role

Verify21 is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the team and help us in our mission. As the Full Stack engineer at Verify21, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering many new products. Your technical expertise will inform and shape the future of our technology stack and the processes we use to support it.

It is an exciting opportunity to own a project **from start to **finish** working on the most important thing in the world today.... Bitcoin.

Verify21 is based in Valencia, Spain. This role is based **on-site** in in our Valencia office.

Responsibilities**:

- Own the front and backend development roadmap
- Responsible for API integrations with third party providers including other financial services
- Lead on implementation of best practices in testing and Dev Ops
- Manage workflows with backend to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
- Responsible for writing documentation
- Responsible for maintaining our open-source codebases on GitHub alongside the rest of the team
- Communicate with other team members to establish effective workflows
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Identify bottlenecks and defects, and devise solutions to address and mitigate
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Provide technical leadership and management to help support the team

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years' experience working in a Full Stack / Web Develop
- Experience building robust software systems (reusability, logging, monitoring, testing)
- Experience creating continuous integration and release workflows
- Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously
- Demonstrated ability of project management & execution in software delivery
- Preferable experience with technologies similar to; Node.js, React, Bootstrap, Svelte, AWS, Lamda, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Git, Gitlab pipeline, etc.
- Cloud know-how (Google, AWS)
- Native level spoken and written English

- Experience working within payments or financial companies
