**Your Role and Responsibilities**

As Databse Administrator you are responsible for manage and perform physical database maintenance & performance, providing technical support to staff, implementing client requirements, solving technical problems in a fast and thorough manner, and also engaging associate teams in problem solving. Install, configure and maintain DB2 LUW instances and Microsoft SQL instances. Develop specific guides related to the installation, configuration, tuning, backup and restore. Performing regular upgrades and fix packs installations. Manage and monitor the space, availability and incidents. Manage the compliance process ( security proceses related with userid management, patch management, ). Manage patching and migrating processes. Colaborate with the development teams to optimize processes and procedures and colaborate with Disaster-Recovery task. Work with teams in Spain and foreign countries using Spanish and English as communication language.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**

More than three years of experience managing DB2 UDB and Microsoft SQL databases in Unix / Linux and Windows environments:

- MS Sql Server versions 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017- DB2 luw versions 10 and 11
- Environment installation and upgrade Implementation and maintenance of high availability solutions on SqlServer and DB2 - Cluster MS Sql Server - DB2 HADR Knowledge of operating systems at the user level: Windows, AIX, Linux
- Knowledge of backup tools and monitoring solutions
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure: servers and storage
- Patching, upgrade Performance analysis
- Basic scripting for process automation

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**

Certification

Desirable and valuable knowledge of MySQL, Postgres, Sybase
