Edwards Lifesciences, a global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart disease, as well as critical care and surgical monitoring, is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented person who would like to learn how to process data and help us to collect and analyze clinical data from our monitoring devices. This is how we can help doctors improve decision-making, treatment, and patient care processes.

This is an internship opportunity for a student who likes working with data and wants to learn more. You will be working in close collaboration with clinician specialists during data interpretation. Later, you might be even in touch with doctors from different hospitals across Europe

**Location**: Valencia

**Duration**: 6 months

**Start**: September/October 2023

What will you do?
Help with collecting, organizing, storing, and interpreting data of Edwards’ hemodynamic monitoring systems across Europe.
Work in close collaboration with the clinician specialists when interpreting the data.
Analyze the effective data set needed to develop the key messages that are relevant to the external stakeholders.
Use the data to provide input and recommendations on specific hospital data to internal stakeholders (e.g., Edwards R&D Department).

Who are we looking for?
University student in Computer engineering, Biomedical engineering, Biotechnology or another related field.
Experience in MATLAB is a must.
Experience is programming - Python and any other programming languages is a big advantage.
Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
Willingness to learn and develop, attention to details, good communicational skills. Ability to plan work and meet deadlines.
