**The Role**
Goal of the position: Reporting to the COO, focused on the management of company data at each company-specific level:
- Integrating all the data into a new cloud-based data lake, leading the implementation with IT service providers in the market.
- Leading and enhancing internal cybersecurity processes, supporting the construction team for projects under construction and asset management for operational projects.
- Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure the safeguard the security and integrity of company data and systems.
- Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor system performance and implement measures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Manage IT projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in information technology and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
**General Skills / Attributes**:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally with a proven track record of IT in Renewable Energy portfolio.
- Strong technical background with expertise in network administration, system integration, and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of programming tools such as Python, Pandas, PowerBI, to develop internal tools for the operational management.
- Knowledge of working in cloud-based environments.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, PMP) preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, macros, pivot tables, etc.
- Solid communication skills when conducting technical discussions in diverse cultural environments.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
