Verus Transversal Manufacturing

**DESCRIPTION**

Responsible for the transversal management of all Airbus D&S sites with regarding to REACh directive from the European Commission and the Chemistry Agency (ECHA) at shopfloor level. This management includes both the protection of the workers as the replacement and industrialization of the changes that will happen to the banned products and technologies. As well as centralize all sites’ CapEx needs, OpEx needs and further support to new technologies roadmap and supply chain communication campaign.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operations Coordination in all the VERUSs (Verification of Environmental RegUlations related to Substances) Projects related to regulation affairs.
- Manage the CapEx needs and OpEx needs for every MFT stablished in every site.
- Report the status to a Steering Committee for top level management inside Operations through regular SteerCo as well as summary reports.
- Be in close contact and cooperation trans-divisionally with the REACh stakeholders and managers inside Airbus Commercial and Airbus Helicopters.
- Report and give visibility to Corporate Auditors for the top level management at Group level.
- Manage in close contact with Ho EHS and their appropriate FP in each country.
- Manage the replacement and the industrialization of the products and technologies impacted by the banned substances according with the impact in every site and/or ME extended enterprise.
- Translate the manufacturing needs coming from the manufacturing processes into requirements for the qualification of the new products during the M&P development.
- Centralize the needs of shopfloor support for the rest of the involved projects inside the VERUSs portfolio and committee.
- Build and cooperate in the different SoW for projects needed to accomplish with further regulations and annexes to the main REACh regulation. Attend to the different management meeting at project level (PRM, SteerCo, WP review, Risk/Opportunities sessions, etc.),
- Manage in close contact with Ho Procurement/Materials&Processes/ CE and DO/Services/ and CapEx to speed up and unblock the purchasing needs coming from the MFTs.
- Provide support and assessment to the TRL process for the technologies and materials that would be substituted the banned products Knowledge of metallic technologies is convenient
- Contribute in the Authorization activities
- Manage the risk and opportunities at Project level (information from the MFTs).

**SKILLS**
- Engineering degree (Chemical or related ideally).
- Project management: less than 3 years.
- Experience in production and/or Manufacturing Engineering activities: from 3 to 5 years.
- Knowledge of SAP, SNT, ARM, Jira, Confluence and UP.
- Familiarity with Environmental Regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership by influence.
- Spanish and English: Advanced (others language will be considered).
- International experience (nice to have).
