**Mission**:
As part of our legal team, you will work alongside cross-functional teams to develop strategies, manage legal risks and support the integration of new products and services. If you are proactive, detail-oriented and passionate about the intersection of law, finance and technology, we'd love to have you on board.
**Responsabilities**:
- Provide guidance on regulatory developments and ensure the organization is prepared to comply with evolving legal frameworks, particularly in crypto-assets and investment services.
- Offer legal expertise on the marketing and distribution of financial products, including those linked to crypto-assets and traditional investments.
- Support the design and legal approval of innovative investment solutions and services, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and providers, ensuring compliance throughout the lifecycle of services and products.
- Monitor and manage ongoing legal obligations arising from agreements related to crypto-assets and investment services.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with the legal frameworks by reviewing advertising and promotional materials for crypto-assets and investment products, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards.
- Provide legal advice to cross-functional teams, including business, operations, and customer service, on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Assist in the approval process for launching new functionalities, services, or products in Spain and other jurisdictions.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external legal entities.
**To be successful in the role you must have**:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in legal advice on digital assets (Crypto assets),
- Strong understanding of major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins, as well as knowledge of various blockchain protocols, advertising campaigns and its applicable regulation (MiCAR).
- Experience in investment products and services (minimum 5 years), especially marketing and distribution of investment funds, securities and advertising campaigns with them would be an asset.
- Degree in Spanish Law. Fully qualified lawyer. LLM in Banking and relevant certifications in Cryptoassets (is a plus).
- Fluent in English (C1)
