Automatization 4.0 Engineer

**Role overview**:
The Automatization Engineer will define, design, source and launch automated machinery and processes, assuring the standardization of the equipment in every LEAR plant. This role will be based in Vigo

**The main tasks of the job include**:

- Identification of new opportunities for automation within the manufacturing process.
- Developing concepts of new automatization solutions, preparing specifications and requirements for external RFQs.
- Reviewing offers and solutions proposed by external companies
- Designing and defining manufacturing processes adopting LEAR standards if any, of creating them if needed.
- Designing new automation equipment or processes, Fail-Safe Programming. Electrical and Pneumatical schemes. Simulations and commissioning of installations
- Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of automation equipment or processes.
- Staff training where necessary - typically after implementing new processes or equipment, or making changes to existing ones
- Troubleshooting automated processes or equipment.
- Track project costs to meet budget
- Track project planning to meet milestones.
- Knowledge of automatic visual control systems and PLC programming in SIEMENS TIA software.
- Integration and launching of the LPS LEAR system in new programs.
- Integration of automation equipment.

**Key skills**:

- TIA Portal Skills. (PLC Ladder Logic, Graph, SCL and STL and WinCC)
- Industrial Network management. (ProfiNet, EtherNET, EtherNETIP, SERCOS etc.)
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
- Knowledge about RobotStudio & Robot Guide.
- Creative thinking skills
- Detail-oriented personality
- Ability to communicate well with other members of the development team
- Experience with automatic vision control systems.
- Experience in Cybersecurity and 4.0 IT is desirable.
