**What you’ll be doing as a Legal Counsel**:
As a Legal Counsel, you will be responsible to provide support to our sales and management team from proposal phase to contract close out.

Together with the rest of the Legal Department, you will be responsible for the contract management process and for the development of standards for bidding and submission.

**A typical day will include**:
- Review of public tender and private customers’ RFPs, purchase orders & other relevant documentation while supporting the preparation of proposals, agreements, contract amendments and claims.
- Participate and/or lead negotiations and implementation of frame agreements with key customers or suppliers.
- Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with deadlines, deliverables and with appropriate laws, regulations and any applicable corporate or government policies.
- Administer and maintain electronic and physical contract files in accordance with internal and external regulations, in line with the Group policy regarding archive and document management.
- Act as the point of contact for all communication regarding resolution of contractual issues and disputes while also providing guidance regarding contractual activities
- Develop standards (including processes & policies) for government contracts in line with industry standards, best practices and company requirements/expectations
- Assist in new business pursuit and associated contract strategies as needed

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities We’re Looking For**:
Demonstrated experience working on EU contracts and technical projects, notably in Spanish, French or Swiss laws, ideally in an international context.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey complex legal notions in ways others can readily follow.

Good negotiation skills both in one-on-one and group situations.

Ability to closely collaborate cross functionally, with various stakeholders.

Ideally, an understanding of financial issues with their contractual implications.

**Requirements**:
Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish, French would be a plus

Master in Business Law, Contract law, Intellectual Property law, certification in contract management would be a plus
