**Job Description**:
As a Cost Optimization Analyst, Logistics SE, you will be responsible for:

- Providing Financial management analysis and recommendations to SE Supply Chain Leadership on Logistics Transport Cost in the SE Region, including understanding of the cost drivers (leading indicators) as well as the output costs (lagging indicators)
- To support tactical as well as strategic cost to serve improvement programs, and in identification of strategic goals and tracking against those goals
- To provide accurate and timely market cost driver information such as inflation, transport capacity constraint impact, fuel indexes etc. and support forecasting of such
- To support in evaluation of business cases, particularly those driven by transport cost such as PNO, Onsite Solutions and new Customer opportunities

Secondary purpose is to:

- Providing full support during the Budget and QFCST processes to Regional and Country Cost Optimization Team with respect to logistics transport cost
- Leading the implementation / tracking of Logistics initiatives for Southern Europe SC, and where applicable to create value through their understanding of Supply Chain processes and to manage projects which enable proactive solutions
- Develop useful reporting tools and analysis, by following standardization rules, with the usage of programming languages and databases

Major accountabilities:

- Lead Logistics cost transparency of KPIs and cost breakdown
- Drive the production of European standards which enable benchmarking and process improvement
- Close collaboration with Regional Planning, Execution and Carrier Management teams to improve Logistics cost forecast
- Provide efficient support to the Budget & Forecast process as well as Plant Network Optimization Analysis
- Support CapEx projects financial analysis
- Lead tracking of Budget initiatives and pipeline of actions to mitigate extra costs
- Define cost drivers and develop user friendly tools to drive efficiencies in Logistics
- Provide analysis & support & insights for month-end performance presentation
- Participate in cross-functional projects as Supply Chain representative

Qualifications:
- 3+ years Supply Chain Cost Management expertise, or 3+ years of Finance experience preferably for complex multinational businesses, with Supply Chain Finance expertise- Experience of working in a dynamic and international office environment- Knowledge of transport planning and tendering is a must- Knowledge of Project and Change Management is an advantage- Knowledge of Financial accounting is an advantage- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally combining Finance, Engineering and Logistics- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma would be a plus

Skills and Knowledge:
- Advanced Word / Excel / PowerPoint/ Power BI skills- Established financial, Supply Chain and analysis skills- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively to deadlines and without supervision- Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset- Comfortable working under pressure and working with Top Management- Good verbal and written communication skills- Agile learner, curious

Essential: Fluent English

Desirable: Spanish
