**About the role**

We are looking for a Product Manager to join us in building Siemens Energy’s ESG DataHub. The role will sit within the Enterprise Data & Advanced Analytics organization (EDAA) within Siemens Energy, and allocated to the ESG DataHub programme.

EDAA has been established to help Siemens Energy achieve our mission by becoming a data-driven organization. In EDAA, we are creating and using data as a strategic asset to support customers in transitioning to a more sustainable world, by using innovative technologies and bringing ideas into reality. We are a group of engineers, data scientists, machine learning researchers, data governance experts, product managers, and more.

Joining as Product Manager, you will be exposed to the fast-changing worlds of data and AI, and also sustainability, including the new CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) reporting landscape.

**How You’ll Make an Impact?**
- As Product Manager, you will be the first point of contact between the engineering team and the Product Owners in sustainability organisation
- On a daily basis, you will need to prioritize and translate complex customer demands into future-proof and secure technical solutions
- You will bridge the gap between the business and the data/software engineering team, by translating business requirements and objectives into the right technical solutions
- You will be responsible for successful releases that meet business needs
- You will review the deliverables from the implementation partner for example reviewing solution design & architecture
- You will manage the programme finances, budget allocation, cost controlling and risks.
- You will communicate to various stakeholders the progress of the programme.

**What You bring - Your skills, capabilities.**
- You will use your domain and technical experience to communicate confidently, clearly andeasily with international colleagues in both sustainability and data domains
- You are knowledgeable in the business impact of sustainability initiatives and how data products can support strategic decision-making
- You are experienced in delivering data-rich, digital/software products (such as web or mobile apps, data visualisation dashboards, digital workflows)
- You have knowledge of AWS, Snowflake & Tableau
- You are experienced with Agile and Scrum methodologies to enable iterative and collaborative product development
- You have experience of managing product finances, budgets and project risks, and working with relevant software systems (e.g. ServiceNow)
- You have experience of motivating and coordinating Agile teams, including remote colleagues
- You have ample examples of acting with strong customer focus
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly clarity, accuracy and concision.
- You seek to simplify and accelerate projects
- You set high standards across all your work and interactions.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written English (knowledge of German or any other language is useful but not essential).
- You are motivated to contribute to the transformation and decarbonization of energy generation globally.
