About you
**Profile & Experience**
- Experience recruiting and developing highly talented teams in the Data management/governance spaces
- Metrics-first mindset and experience with CPG commercial data, digital data
- DM framework (DAMA, DCAM etc.) certification
- Master in Computer Science or related with deep background on data
- 3+ years’ experience dealing with data governance framework
- Experience with putting in place a data governance framework (e.g. data security policy,n data quality guidelines etc)
- Experience with common data governance tools (Data catalogs, marketplaces, data quality tools etc).
- Proven experience with Agile framework

**Key Deliverables**
- Take full ownership for the delivery of a "Data governance framework" - a suite of clear, easy to understand policies, Data governance processes and solutions that make it fast and easy to build compliance, consistency and confidence in the data
- Leadership: the ability to inspire your team and stakeholders to think outside the box as they deliver high quality data without second thoughts on the potential misusage of data
- Recruit, motivate, mentor, and lead the best data governance talent
- Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support solutions in data governance and its technologies
- Educate and communicate regularly to main stakeholder’s progress and success of the data governance maturity evolution within the company.
- Partner with Product and Platform, country Hubs in Data and Functional business colleagues to guide the Data governance framework roadmap, facilitate stakeholder communication and transparency, etc.

The Danone Data & Analytics organization (D&A) is looking for a **Data Governance Team Lead**. Data & Analytics has the mission to deliver-leading edge, business-focused data powered products & services that will help strengthen Danone transformation & growth.

The Data governance team lead, leads a group of skilled Data governance Managers in building modern, optimized and efficient data governance framework such as:

- Responsible for the creation and animation of data domain communities, setting data domain governance forums cadence and ways of working.
- Responsible for coordinating the data quality certification process before strategic data assets are ingested in Danone’s new Data Lake, ensuring the minimum level of data quality compliance is achieved.
- Responsible for coordinating the implementation of a data quality tool to support the execution of DQ controls, DQ Dashboarding and DQ issue management.
- Standardized data access in line with data classification & attached policies
- Data owner and steward handbook
- Metadata management for optimized data cataloging
- Mutli-domain and multipurpose data marketplace.
- External data scouting/partnership
- Data governance KPIs
- Data governance council and forums
