**Job Description Summary**: The Tendering Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality and competitiveness of offers for high voltage turnkey substations in Spain and abroad (at least, countries of South Europe Region: Italy, France, Greece, etc.).

Proceed with customer enquiry received, starting from evaluation of all technical, commercial and logistic aspects, preparing all the required technical documents and approvals for sending the offer corresponding to the enquiry with most competitive cost and correct technical documents for offer submission as well as follow up until final customer decision.

Spain will be primary location, but Italy or France could be an option too.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**

**Tender analysis**
- Careful analysis of tender requirements
- Supporting Sales Team to decide for GO or NoGo
- Determination of general bidding strategy considering internal and external partners

**Tender Preparation**
- Perform Kick-Off to involve all needed department and functions
- Determine work packages and deadlines
- Release requests for quotations to internal product lines and external subsupplier
- Determine interfaces / division of responsibilities with internal and external partners
- Clarify offers in technical and commercial way - involving internal departments
- Develop / improve technical solution with engineering team if not given by customer
- Develop and agree execution strategy including time schedule with execution team
- Gather all project related cost and benchmark with existing offers / projects
- Lead cost savings actions
- Perform risk assessment of the project
- Prepare and perform needed approval meetings with different management levels
- Collect all requested documentation for the offer
- Describe all comments, deviations, and alternatives towards the customer
- Submit the offer on time in a high quality

**Tender follow-up**
- Continue technical and commercial clarification with customer
- Improve the offer technical and cost wise
- Prepare and submit the best and final offer (BAFO)

**Tender Handover**
- In case of order award ensure comprehensive transfer to the execution team
- Support the execution team during the first period of the project
- When contract is lost support the sales team for loss analysis and return of experience

**Responsibilities**
- Act as the interface between commercial, engineering, project functions and Engineering-, Procurement-, Commissioning (EPC) partner
- Responsible of cost, cost saving and risk assessment accuracy
- Submit offers that are comprehensive, competitive, executable, and profitable
- Clarify / deviate requests from customer that might be harmful for the company
- Meet the internal and external tender deadlines
- Comply with work instructions and tender processes / given tools
- Comply with quality management (QM) and environmental, health and safety (EHS) procedures
- Drive return of experience to support future tender
- Support tender process improvement

**Education Requirements**
- B.S Degree in Electrical/General Engineering

**Experience and Knowledge**
- Min 4-5 years relevant experience in Sales, Engineering / Design and / or Tendering.
- Excellent domain of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
- Spanish and English languages fluent/native
- Fluency in other languages will be a plus: Italian, French, etc.
