We are looking for a **R&D engineer, Control Systems** to join our team of professionals.

The position is based in Hiab’s office in **Zaragoza** and will be reporting to the R&D Manager, Control Systems.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Take an active part in the development of new projects defining hardware and functional requirements
- Define technical specifications, test plan and validation of Control System HW & SW
- Support in the development of prototypes and in product testing / validation activities
- Collaboration with the production department when new products are launched. Definition of parameters for new features implementation
- After sales assistance.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:
We’re looking for a dynamic, methodical, enterprising person and strongly motivated to carry out team activities and promote the necessary activities and methodologies suitable for finalising the tasks entrusted.

**Ideally you have**:

- University degree in engineering, mechatronics or electronics
- Experience in integration of Control Systems in machinery
- Experience in electrical drawings. Preferred Solid Edge
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Preferred 2 years of experience in industries in the machinery and / or services production sector: Hydraulic handling machines and control systems
- Knowledge in modelling and simulation (Matlab/Simulink) would be an advantage.
