ICFO is a research center located in the Mediterranean Technology Park in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, and currently hosts 400+ people, including researchers, PhD students and staff personnel. Today, in its area of specialization and category, the institute is consistently ranked among the highest-quality research institutions worldwide.

The applicant will work in ICFO’s IT unit in collaboration with ICFO’s Documentalist in the implementation of scientific management policies at ICFO.
- Participate in the design and implementation of scientific management policies linked to Open Science, such as data management and open access policies.
- Collaborate in the implementation of the data management policy of the Institute.
- Management of the publications of the Institute, including among others, collection and verification of ICFO publications, inclusion in open access repositories, analysis, and preparation of reports about the scientific production of the institute, impact indicators, etc.

This position will be funded with the collaboration from the MINISTERIO DE CIENCIA E INNOVACIÓN-FECYT.

**REQUIREMENTS**

The appointee must have:

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in the preparation and submission of competitive projects related to Open Science.
- Expertise in iMarina publication’s software.
- Proven Knowledge of research bibliometrics and tools.
- Proven knowledge of research data management tools across all the research data life cycle (collection, management, storage and publication) and implementation of FAIR principles.
- It will be highly valuable a degree in any scientific / engineering discipline, or library and information science.
