With a fresh round of funding, Glamping Hub is excited to be hiring for the next stage of growth within the company. We are looking for a multipurpose marketing writer that will deliver content on glamping-related written material including work on SEO, content marketing, PR, Host of the Month, social media, and some glamping listing writing for priority sites.

Responsibilities:

- This writing position is a fantastic way to transfer your writing skills to the travel industry
- SEO
- Work with the our SEO advisors to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed pages or templates
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
Implement keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
- Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success
- Content Writing
- Write a variety of content including, blogs, website copy, promotional material, and more with varying voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the product, campaign, and target audience.
- Research and identify interesting travel, and industry-related topics as well as customers' needs and gaps in our content to recommend fresh ideas.
- Edit & proofread copy and content written by yourself and others, ensuring it is always grammatically accurate.
- Highlight content on social media
Work with the Marketing team to implement and ensure style guidelines are followed for how the brand is expressed throughout the business
- Write compelling descriptions for a variety of unique glamping accommodations, locations, and activities to bring the listings to life whilst following existing style and SEO guidelines
- Assist with building our Host community by managing our Host of the Month acknowledgment features
- Assist with the marketing team by managing and responding to incoming PR inquiries from journalists, partnerships, and other potential PR opportunities.
Desired Skills / Qualifications:

- Excellent written communication skills
- Understanding in writing and editing practices
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Knowledge of how to incorporate SEO keywords, including experience of writing meta titles and descriptions, incorporating keywords and keeping to character counts, and also image alt tags.
- SEO experience is a plus, however, if you are motivated to learn, our SEO experts will provide guidance to develop this valuable skill
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual who is flexible and able to switch between tasks easily
- Creative and strategic thinker and problem solver
Proven work experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or a similar role for B2B or B2C professional services brands.
- Proficiency in G-suite, social media channels & Word Press is desired
