This role is part of Digital Operations/Manufacturing, responsible for transferring all our manufacturing plants digitally (“Industry 4.0”) by using new, digital devices like Automated Guided Vehicles, cameras, co-bots, sensors (‘Operational Technology’, OT) connect them to our digital systems and using data analytics of these devices in a standardized method and for all related processes at Signify factories. Its responsibilities are at the heart of new breakthroughs for manufacturing. So, aspiring for new technical concepts, data use and standardization, and closely cooperating with various functions must be in your DNA.

What you’ll do
- Create and define these OT- devices into digital, standard building blocks in ERP for Digital Manufacturing, while validating the interfaces to other digital systems (as support for continuing Signify as frontrunner in the Digital Operations transformation).
- Give you support from our company and mentor/coaching. And we take care within the assignment for fulfilling your internship requirements.

Your qualifications
- A current student, who has shown interest in digitization and standardizing of OT-devices (in our ERP).
- Proactive student and a good communicator (English is company language)
- Enthusiastic to cooperate within the Digital Operations’ team as well as to various functions within Signify.
- Studying a Bachelor Information Systems / Technology (or similar) for this internship
- Able to start your internship per Sept. ‘23 till end.’23/Jan.’24 (as per university bachelor study requirements and duration)
- Able and willing to work at our Signify factory Valladolid during this internship.
