Logistics Coordinator

The purpose of the role

The Logistics Coordinator will manage and control transport bookings with logistics providers, that is, manage routes and deals, for the dispatch of products from Griffith Foods. The main duty will be to ensuring delivery to our customers on time and follow-up paperwork and queries. Making sure that this is done in the most cost-efficient manner whilst maximizing the quality and service level to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze and optimize logistic procedures and respond to all transport related queries and/or issues.
- Follow up the quality, service and deliveries with our customers, and solve any issue related to these.
- Contact with Customer Service to understand customer’s needs and ensure deliveries are performed accordingly.
- Deal with all costs related to transport and complete sales orders
- Set up the capacity requirements based on available orders/forecast and communicate/discuss with Operations.
- Quickly identify planning constraints, initiate the corrective actions and communicate them to the relevant people.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3 years’ experience in Logistics or in a similar position.
- Previous experience in Customer Service would be valuable.
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (Transporeon knowledge would be valuable)
- Knowledge of logistics’ laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English. Languages such as French and Italian would be valuable.
