**About the role**

Main duties: Identify and analyse opportunities and risks in the telco market for medium and long term Interpret and gather data on market and competitors analysing results and identifying insights. Analyse telco trends and how they impact the company and the overall market. Prepare market analysis on a quarterly basis on competitor’s P&L and telco market financial KPIs. Build market financial forecasts based on hypothesis identifying competitor’s revenue triggers. Supporting Finance, Business Units, CFO and ExCO to understand telco competitive environment.

As a **Specialist Market Analyst**, you´ll be in charge of the following responsibilities:

- Deliver competitor’s and overall market revenue forecast on a quarterly basis and once a year delivering a long range plan forecast
- Analyse competitor’s financial quarterly results and annual accounts identifying revenue triggers and costs estimates
- Gather, interpret, and synthesize data from different sources (annual accounts, CNMC, quarterly results, market research, industry analysts). Build financial models and provide insights on market evolution and competitor’s trend
- Identify and advise company on competitor’s best practices

**What do you bring?**
- University degree, master degree is a plus
- Between 3 to 5 years of experience in either a consulting firm, or strategy, controlling or FP&A positions.
- Experience in data analysis and research. Knowledge of telecommunication sector is a plus
- Strong aptitude to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Solid personal initiatives and team player. Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Communication skills in English
