**Role Purpose**
- The O2C Lead is responsible for managing the O2C in Iberia. Supports key stakeholders such as the Country CFO in managing risk and ensuring optimal operating results. Liaises with Sandoz Global Service Centers to ensure goals are aligned and KPIs are being delivered. Working with the Global Credit Management team to ensure risks are recognized and mitigated in a timely manner. Assists with contract negotiations and ensuring contractual disputes are resolved in a manner that protects Sandoz, maintains the highest quality Accounts Receivables, and preserves positive relationships with customers.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Manages a diverse team (on/ off-shore) to deliver a high-performing organization and drive improvements/standard solutions, while driving a high degree of collaboration
- Assists with contract negotiations and ensuring contractual disputes are resolved in a manner that protects Sandoz, maintains the highest quality Accounts Receivables, and preserves positive relationships with customers
- Drives overall risk knowledge through the organization via credit committees
- Collaborates with key stakeholders, including CFOs, Customer Service, and commercial teams to mitigate and reduce credit risks
- Takes swift action when risk changes to minimize bad debt losses
- Ensures material exceptions are communicated and resolved in a timely manner
- Drives all stakeholders to ensure KPIs and expectations are met
- Consults and supports the Global Service Centers in driving operational excellence via continuous improvement.
- Ensures compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (SFCM) and regulatory requirements and implementation in internal guidelines

**Minimum requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance. CPA or Chartered Accountant is preferred. Advanced Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred
- Minimum of 7 years’ accounting experience, preferably in Big 4 public accounting, healthcare industry or large corporation with shared service concept
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
