En Vermila Studios nos encontramos desarrollando nuestra ópera prima; un videojuego que destila acción, horror y aventura, tres géneros que se experimentarán a través de una inmersiva perspectiva en primera persona.
- Por esta razón, necesitamos un VFX Artist que pueda elevar la calidad de nuestro universo a base de pasión y talento.
Minimum requirements
- Al menos 3 años de experiência en la creación de efectos visuales estilizados dentro del motor de juegos.
- Capacidad para manejar shaders y destreza en su desarrollo y modificación. Conocimiento sólido en 3D a nível topológico y experiência en el manejo de UV, con la capacidad de crear geometrías personalizadas.
- Comprensión de la teoría del color y los principios de la animación, con especial atención al detalle.
- Buen conocimiento técnico sobre gráficos 3D, texturas, materiales PBR, simulaciones, etc.

Desired requirements
- Título relacionado con efectos visuales (VFX).
- Conocimiento de sistemas de partículas en Niagara (Unreal).
- Capacidad para crear efectos 2D dibujados a mano e integrarlos en el motor.
- Conocimiento en Houdini.
- Conocimiento en lenguaje VEX.
- Conocimiento en creación de procedimientos con Houdini.

Duties
- Diseñar y crear efectos visuales estilizados para videojuegos, prestando especial atención a los detalles y la estética visual.
- Colaborar estrechamente con el equipo de desarrollo para comprender y cumplir con los requisitos deseados, tanto en términos de jugabilidad como de aspecto visual.
- Integrar los efectos visuales de manera eficiente, teniendo en cuenta la optimización y el rendimiento.
- Crear shaders y herramientas avanzadas personalizadas según las necesidades del proyecto para mejorar la eficiencia del flujo de trabajo.
- Identificar y resolver diversos problemas técnicos que puedan surgir durante el proceso.
- Ayudar a establecer flujos de trabajo de activos con materiales maestros.
- Localizar y solucionar problemas de producción de arte de VFX.
