Commodity Buyer

**Scope**:
**_ Commodity Buyer_** is responsible for design, implement and supervise the management of purchases of raw materials and components, negotiating directly with suppliers prices and contract conditions (payment, discounts, delivery times, among others) in order to achieve maximum efficiency in quality and costs of it, during the development of projects and prior to industrialization.

**Your role**:

- Establish technical and administrative processes.
- Structure the panel of suppliers, participate in the definition and implementation of the purchasing panel for their family / s of product, and select suppliers according to the criteria of the company.
- Manage localization and search for new suppliers, establish purchase and supply contracts with suppliers and negotiate with them to improve quality, service and price criteria.
- Know the different technologies applicable to your Commodity in general, knowing the criteria applicable when selecting suppliers.
- Know the products of your commodity, the suppliers that supply them, the processes of those suppliers and the technological differences between them.
- Manage the panel of suppliers: control performance and maintain development strategy of strategic suppliers.
- Ensure the reporting of your activities following the defined policies, and the KPI's management of the purchasing process.

**Your backpack is filled with**:

- University degree in technical engineering
- **3 year’s experience minimum.**:

- Strong communication skill.
- English fluent.
- MS Office.
- Knowledge in sourcing and process
- Knowledge in safety and regulatory symbols
