A vacancy for a Software Tester for Eurofighter Tranche-1 and Tranche 2/3 Avionics has arisen within Airbus Defense & Space in Getafe. The successful applicant will join "CLAEX Architecture & Integration" and will be base in the Torrejón de Ardoz Air Base.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Assessing Software Requirements (SR) and software problems via detailed analysis of the purpose of functions, the consistency and completeness of the description and identification of further necessary information for correct and complete implementation of the SRS.
- Providing a deficiency/discrepancy report describing the detected SR problems as well as participating in SR reviews.
- Preparing and updating avionics software Test Procedures (TPs) for Eurofighter Avionics Subsystems (NAV, DASS, ACS, D&C, COMM, ) and for the Eurofighter Avionics System Integrated (SI).
- Performing technical workshops and reviews as requested by the applied SW development process.
- Performing Eurofighter Avionics Subsystems and System Integration tests on the Eurofighter Tranche-1 & Tranche-2/3 Avionics Benches according to the Eurofighter Avionics Subsystems and System Integration Test Procedures.
- Analyzing test results and preparing Test Reports, including provision of input to the Deviation Handling Process.
- Implementing the complete contracted functionality as contained in the software Version Description Document (VDD) in the test.
- Providing completeness by tracing of test/test cases against the Test Procedure created by the System Design Responsible (SDR) of the every avionic subsystem and the avionic system integration.
- Providing required and specific time constraints for test procedure execution.
- Providing correct and complete documentation as described in the contracted work package.
- Supporting other groups involved in the CLAEX software development in order to fulfill the overall functionality of a software program.
- Necessary Experience in integration testing of real-time software is required.
- Necessary Experience in Operating the Rig laboratory systems (TIGER, CAST, RSEs, RFTG, ).
- Necessary knowledge of the Eurofighter Avionic systems including knowledge about MIL-STD-1553 and 3910 buses.
- Experience in performing software testing on a Integration Test Bench as well as knowledge of the following tools for integration testing:

- Knowledge of programming language of ATL.
- MaTE and Data Repository.
- Ability to analyze (data bus recording tools), assess, integrate and test software products from a potential supplier.
- Knowledge and experience of the following tools: Doors (Control Requirements Tools), VSS (Control Configurations tools) and CoDIX (Management of Software Discrepancies).
