**Digital Matte Painting Senior Artist**, you will be responsible for painting from photo-real to stylized digital environments or creating 3D elements for matching into 3D plates or to stand on their own as DMP.
- This is a cross-discipline role and requires abilities in DMP, digital painting, concept art, modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
**Responsibilities**:
- Creates photo realistic and stylized DMP using all available resources.
- Workflow with Knowledge of how to combine photograph-digital paintings-3D elements.
- Provide input during the visual development/design phase.
- Works together with the team providing them with support, guidance, and instruction in areas that contribute towards their artistic and professional growth.
- Follows the Supervisor’s and Lead's guidance.
- Communicate regularly with the Production team and lead regarding schedules and deadlines.
- Keeps up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years in VFX or animation industries.
- 3+ years in the animation industry.
- Perfect understanding of shape, light and color, composition, and perspective.
- Professional mastering in Photoshop.
- Knowledge in modeling, texturing/shading, lighting, and rendering in Houdini with Arnold.
- High level in compositing with Nuke, with a special understanding of camera projection setup.
- Medium knowledge of Mary, Z-brush.
- Medium-high English level desirable.
- Spanish desirable.
