An opportunity for a **Supply Chain Quality Manager **has arisen within **Airbus Defence and Space, **Getafe (Madrid).

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The jobholder will be responsible for:
1. Manage the supplier quality approval and ensure that suppliers are compliant with certifications required in coordination with relevant stakeholders

2. Manage/contribute to supply chain & quality aspects of the contract being responsible for On Time, On Quality (and On Cost when applicable) performance

3. Monitor or support new product introduction, Transfer of Works, changes, to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase

4. Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects

5. Report on supplier operational performance. Work out short-term recovery plans

6. Identify the supplier industrial risks and propose mitigation actions. Assess the Supplier capacity, capability & performance and contribute to the Supplier development

**SKILLS**

**Education**:Engineering degree or a related discipline.

**Experience**:At least 5 years in Procurement and/or Quality and/or Engineering.

**Soft skills**: High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

**Languages**:Advanced level in English.

**Technical knowledge**: SAP, Google Suite, Microsoft Office.

**Valuable / Nice to have**:Experience auditing/assessing requirements for suppliers and managing APQP projects will be valued.
