- 2-5 years of relevant work experience, with exposure to bid management in the
- renewable energy industry.
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and
- maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of the REN energy market, with a willingness to learn more about energy
- storage solutions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Interest in expanding knowledge of the renewable energy industry.
**Activités**
- Analyze customer requirements and ensure that tenders are aligned with customer expectations.
- Develop and adjust bid response strategies based on input from sales and support functions. - Drive the bidding process from initiation to completion, including evaluating Go/No Go proposals and initiating the Request for Proposal (RFP) stage.
Estimate the total project cost, encompassing direct expenses, subcontractor/vendor costs, overhead, contingencies, and scope exclusions. - Formulate the commercial and technical proposals highlighting the value proposition and addressing the customer's business case.
- Assess potential risks associated with the bid, collaborating with finance, operations, legal, and tax experts to develop mitigation plans.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive quotes for power conversion systems (PCS), power management systems (PMS), and installation works, coordinating with procurement to optimize costs.
- Assist the sales manager in negotiations, particularly on contractual matters and contract preparation, ensuring alignment with Saft's standard contractual terms and conditions.
- Upon securing the bid, effectively transfer the offer to the operations team for handover and execution.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance bidding procedures, tools, and documentation, minimizing tendering time and ensuring compliance with Saft's standards.
- Effectively implement Saft's bidding processes and tools, such as CRM Dynamics, to streamline the bidding process and ensure best practices are followed within the team.
