Ebury is a hyper-growth FinTech firm, named in 2021 as one of the top FinTech's to work for by Glassdoor and AltFi. We offer a range of products including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments and API integration.

**About the role**:
This position will be part of a key division within the CFO function of the Group that will work together with P&L analysts and interact constantly with the Head of Data and the Head of FPA and will play a key role in the performance of Ebury. It will report directly to the Group Treasurer:

- You will be responsible for the data modelling of the PnL of FX derivatives and TF portfolio of the Group.
- Compute mark-to-market levels of the portfolio in different accounting methodologies and identify the key driving variables that bridge them.
- Model in Python new trading performance metrics.
- Build complex SQL queries to produce revenue and balance sheet reports to drive executive-level strategic decision-making.
- Lead the review and backtesting of assumptions currently implemented.
- Implement the framework to evaluate the portfolio profitability and performances under IFRS and different GAAP standards.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for an individual with drive and passion that is eager to make an impact at Ebury from the first minute:

- 2+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics
- Advanced SQL skills - must be able to read and write complex SQL queries
- Experience with our modern data stack tools (a plus) We use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DataStudio), Looker
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
- Track record of working autonomously with time management skills
- Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)
- Financial Services and Capital Markets Experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc) is desirable but not mandatory.
